Summary

QRMints is operated by LoboGeek. We built it to collect as little data as possible. The content of your static QR codes is processed in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

QR code content

Static QR codes — including URLs, text, Wi-Fi credentials, phone numbers, email addresses and contact cards — are generated locally on your device whenever technically possible. We do not intentionally receive, store or analyze this content.

Logos you upload are processed in your browser and are not uploaded.

Data stored on your device

We may store non-sensitive preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as your chosen colors, QR style, download size, language and cookie choice. Passwords, phone numbers, emails, texts and URLs are never stored. You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we store your name, email address and message so we can reply. We use this information only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed.

To protect the form from spam, the contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, which collects hardware and software information (such as device and browser data) and sends it to Google for analysis, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. reCAPTCHA is not loaded on any other page.

Analytics

We may use analytics to understand how QRMints is used, for example which QR types are popular or how many files are downloaded. These events never include the content of your QR codes. Where required by law, analytics are only enabled after you give consent.

Advertising

QRMints may display ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense to keep the service free. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, according to their own policies. Where required, personalized ads are only shown after you consent, and you can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Server logs and security

Like most websites, our servers may record technical information such as IP address, browser type and requested pages for security and to keep the service running. These logs are kept for a limited time.

We may update this policy as QRMints evolves. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
